Requesting Documents through Auxita

Auxita users can now request any supporting medical documents from another user or the Patient Support Program securely through the Documents section of Auxita.

The patient must already be enrolled in a Patient Support Program before you can upload any documents to their profile.  Not all PSPs support Document Requests/Uploads through Auxita.

There are two ways to initiate a Document Request:

From the Programs Page

  1. Click on Programs from the navigation pane on the left.
  2. Select the Documents tab along the top to jump to that section.

  3. Click the Request button to begin the document request.

  4. Complete the required details on the Request Document page including Patient, Program, Document Type, and Note.
  5. You will also want to select who you are requesting this document from next to Attention. This field is not required. If you do not choose a user, the Document Request is sent to all Auxita users in the Facility.

undefined-Aug-14-2023-04-59-58-4176-PMNOTE Physicians and their office staff can request a document from any other user that is part of their Facility, including PSP Staff for the Program the selected Patient is enrolled in.

PSP Staff can also request documents from patients. All users will be able to view these patient requests. Only the PSP Staff can communicate directly with the Patient through Auxita.

    6. Click Submit to complete the Document Request.

    From the Patient Profile

Similarly, when a Patient is enrolled in a PSP that supports Document Requests/Uploads you will see the Documents section along the top of the Patients page.

undefined-Nov-24-2023-06-28-58-5309-PMNOTE In the scenario of working from multiple facilities, using the facility filter will still allow the request of documents from patients if the dropdown is set to "All".

The patient search displays all patients across facilities, but once you select a patient, only users who are authorized at the facility appear in the Attention dropdown.

undefined-Aug-14-2023-04-59-58-4176-PMNOTE If you are opted into a Referral Workflow you can initiate Document Requests as soon as a Referral Enrolment has been initiated. Referral Enrolments do not need to be submitted to initiate Document Requests.
