For Program and Office staff supporting patients that are completing their PSP consent through Auxita, it is helpful to understand the patient’s point of view.
Depending on the Patient Support Program, after enrolment is successfully submitted, the patient receives an email asking them to complete their consent and provide their insurance details by following these 3 steps:
Confirm Identity – enter their date of birth to validate their identity.Provide Consent – read the consent information and patient disclosure and sign electronically.
Insurance Details – enter insurance details so that the PSP can investigate drug coverage.
NOTE If patient consent was collected in the office, an email will not be sent requesting consent. Furthermore, if the patient already has insurance details saved in their profile in Auxita, they will not be prompted to provide additional insurance information.
