Submitting an Enrolment as a Referral
When Healthcare Providers opt into a Referral Workflow, they choose which enrolment forms are sent to their specified referral representative vs. sending straight to Program.
Completing your enrolment form as a Referral is almost identical to completing a standard enrolment. How to Enrol a Patient in a PSP
When you open an enrolment form that is part of a Referral Workflow, you’ll notice a pink banner along the top of the form notifying you that this patient is being referred through the referral workflow.
After filling in the enrolment form and completing the Physician consent (and Patient consent, if applicable). Click the Complete Referral or Submit to Program button.
The ‘Complete Referral’ option sends the Enrolment form to the referral representative through Auxita; Auxita will indicate the Enrolment process is in Referral Review at this point.
The ‘Submit to Program’ option will submit the Enrolment Form, along with any attachments directly to the Patient Support Program and indicate a status of Submitted within Auxita.
NOTE The patient may need to consent TWICE when using the Capture Patient Consent button. Once for the Referral and again for the Patient Support Program.
If the enrolment form is sent to a Referral Representative to review, they will verify patient consent is received and click Submit once finalized to send the form to the program.
This is all reflected on the patient’s status tile, and in the Status Table in the Programs section.
If multiple Referral Workflows are enabled for the same drug, users have the flexibility to either submit the enrolment to a referral representative or directly to the Patient Support Program (PSP).
To submit directly to the PSP you must still select one of the available Referral options in the Select Referral dialog.
NOTE To simplify this step, a Skip option has been added to the Select Referral dialog. This allows users to bypass selecting a referral altogether when the intention is to submit directly to the program—avoiding the need to pick an incorrect referral just to proceed.
