Sometimes when you submit a reimbursement form through Auxita, the transmission fails. When this happens, the Reimbursement forms need to be resubmitted.
The submission of a reimbursement form may fail for various reasons:
- The recipient’s line is busy and cannot accept faxes at this time.
- The phone number is incorrect and needs to be updated by Auxita Support.
- There is an issue with the internet connection.
You are notified that a Reimbursement Form has failed in 2 locations within Auxita:
- On the Programs Status Table
- On the Patient Overview
Programs Status Table
In the Programs section, on the Status Table, select Reimbursement. If there are any failed transmissions, you will see a status of Submit Failed.
Resubmit the Failed Reimbursement Form
Click the ellipses on the left of the failed reimbursement form and choose Resubmit PA.
This will resend the reimbursement form to the Payer.
NOTE Within Auxita, the terms Reimbursement and Prior Authorization or PA are sometimes used interchangeably.
Patient Overview
In the Patients section, on the Program Overview tab, the Prior Authorization section displays the current Status for each reimbursement form initiated through Auxita.
You’ll see a green checkmark at the stage Submitted to Payer when a submission is successful.
You’ll see a red X when a submission is unsuccessful, like in the image above.
NOTE You can only resubmit a Reimbursement form from the Programs section. All users who have permissions to view the Reimbursement forms have the ability to resubmit.
TIP If the enrolment form does not successfully submit to the Payer after attempting to resend it. Please contact Auxita Support at help@auxita.com
Auxita Support is also notified when a reimbursement form fails and attempts resubmission on your behalf.
