Export a list of patients from Accuro EMR to import multiple patient profiles to Auxita at once.
You can import a patient list to Auxita instead of manually adding patient profiles. First, you must create this list in Accuro EMR.
Accuro Query Builder
The simplest way to create a patient list in Accuro is through the Accuro Query Builder.
The Query output should be saved as a .CSV file type. It can contain any of the following headings to import patient demographic data directly to Auxita. Headings in Bold are required.
- Patient Identifier
- Patient Last Name
- Patient Middle Name
- Patient First Name
- Patient Date of Birth (Format must be YYYY-MM-DD)
- Patient Address Line 1
- Patient Address Line 2
- Patient City
- Patient Province
- Patient Postal Code
- Patient Work Phone
- Patient Mobile Phone
- Patient Home Phone
- Patient Health Card Number
- Patient Email
- Patient Sex (can be either Male, Female or Other)
- Record Type* (can be either EMRPatient or Prescription)
- EMR Patient ID
NOTE Record Type is not necessarily a field that would come from your EMR data. The Record Type is displayed within Auxita in the Import History.
For Patient Demographics import, this field should be EMR Patient for all entries.
Open the Accuro Query Builder
When logged into Accuro, tap the ALT key and begin typing "query" to open the Accuro Query Builder.

Determine how you wish to identify your patients
Depending on how you use Accuro, and if there are multiple Health Care Providers in your Accuro Office, there may be different ways to search for your patient list.
For example, if you use the Office Provider field in the patient's demographics, you could search for all patients where you are their Office Provider.
Alternatively, you might wish to search for all patients that you have billed in the last 1 year with a specific diagnosis, like Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Optional Fields
To populate as many fields as possible into the patient's profile in Auxita, you will want to include optional fields in your Accuro Query.
Things like the patient's address, city, province, postal code and email can all be recorded in Auxita and are often required on the enrolment forms.
Under the rule category Patient Demographics you can select any patient data field, like email address, check the box for Optional and click Add Rule.
By default, the Query will include: | Suggested additional fields: |
Patient First Name |
Patient Middle Name |
For more information on the Optional Rules, check out Accuro’s support page:
Run the Query
1) Once your rules are complete, click the Run Report button.
2) Ensure all the fields you wish to display in your results are selected with the green check mark.
3) Now click Run.
Because there may be several optional fields in your report, it might take some time to load your results. When they do load, click Export to begin saving the .CSV file.
Because the report contains patient data, you will be prompted to encrypt the file. Choose how you would like to save your .CSV file and take note of where you saved the file so that you can upload it to Auxita.
If you need any assistance saving the .CSV file from Accuro or help to build/run your Query we suggest contacting:
Getting your .CSV Ready for Auxita
