I can’t find the Prescriber I’m looking for

When searching for a Prescriber’s Facility, or while completing an Additional Form or digital Prior Authorization Form, you may occasionally find that the Prescriber you need is not listed. you can try a few recommended search tips or submit a request to have the Prescriber added to Auxita. Auxita’s Prescriber database includes physicians who use our platform or work with our partner organizations. As the list is not exhaustive of all Prescribers in Canada, there may be times when the Prescriber you’re searching for is not available.

Facility Search

Facility searches are conducted solely by the Facility’s name. In Auxita, most Facilities follow the naming convention “Dr First Name Last Name.” You can search using the full name or just a portion of it.

Prescriber Search

When working within a form (such as an Additional Form or digital Prior Authorization Form), the Prescriber search is slightly more complex than the Facility search.

There is a checkbox labeled Only search within Facility, which limits your search results to Prescribers who are users within the selected Facility.

If you uncheck this box, your search will include the entire Prescriber database.

NOTE You can identify Prescribers who are Auxita users by the user icon displayed to the right of their name.

TIP Only select a Prescriber who is a user if you are certain you have also selected the Facility they work from.

The Prescriber search will use the information you typed to look for Prescribers based on:

First Name
Last Name
Street Address
City
Province

NOTE You can do a partial search for names. ie. The search “mar” above produces results for last name ‘Martin’ and first name ‘Mario’ or ‘Zemara’

To search for a street address, city or province you must enter the entire word. Provinces use abbreviations (ie. BC for British Columbia)

Example – search for city ‘Toronto’

If all search options fail and you cannot find the Facility or Prescriber you are looking for, fill in this request form and we’ll add the Prescriber and/or Facility to Auxita so you can continue with your form.
