How to use the Patient’s Health Overview Section

The Health Overview section of a Patient’s Profile offers a series of health tiles that display key measurements which are tailored specifically to your therapeutic area.

In addition to viewing and storing measurement values in one place, you can track your patient’s progress over time with graphs and stay alert to the state of their condition with visual risk indicators.

From any patient’s Profile in Auxita, you will see a tab titled Health Overview. 

Pencil iconNOTE Only Physicians and their Office Staff can see the Health Overview.  

If you are logged into Auxita as a Physician, the Health Overview section will display tiles relevant to your therapeutic area.  

If you are logged into Auxita as a Nurse or Office Staff member, you’ll will only see the Vitals and Labs tiles by default.  

All users can select the Filter button on the right of the Health Overview screen to choose the tiles they wish to have visible:

For example, if the Labs tile is not relevant to you, but the Rheumatology tile is – you can uncheck Labs and check Rheumatology.  

Click Apply to save your changes

Tabs are displayed along the bottom of each tile. Though not all tiles will be configured with the same tabs.

Summary 

The first tab summarizes all measurements included in the tile. If any values are present, you will see the most recent and second most recent values. Some measurements will also include trend indicators. If the value has gone up or down since the last result, there is a small arrow indicating the trend direction.

Guidelines 

If present, the Guidelines tab will have links to external resources based on the therapeutic area/measurements.

View guideline button is highlighted within this tile.

When clicking View Guideline, a prompt appears advising you that you are are exiting Auxita. Click Proceed if you want to continue to the external resource.

Graph

 If present, the Graph tab will display measurements plotted on a graph over time. 

The graph feature is displayed.

From the graph tab within the tile, Add Measurments option is available when necessary.

You can add measurements from the graph or edit measurements tab when no measurements are available, and a measurement type is selected.

When adding a measurement, the date picker defaults to month view when adding measurements. 

The month displays when adding a measurement from the date picker.

Measurements 

The last tab allows you to edit or delete existing measurement values, if necessary. 

Pencil iconNOTE Some tiles have risk indicators that alert if a measurement value is out of range or on target. There are low risk, medium risk, and high-risk classifications. The entire tile changes colour based on the risk indicator’s classification, and a description of the risk indicator will be located at the top of the tile.  


(e.g., BMI on the Vitals tile displays green if the patient is within a normal weight range, yellow for overweight or underweight range, and red when the patient is categorized as obese).

You can download a PDF copy or receive a fax summary of your patient's health data from Auxita to store in your EMR, keeping all patient records up to date.

If an Enrolment form is opened and a patient has a recorded value in the Health Overview section, it will populate into the form and a note will display under the result indicating this. “This value was defaulted from the patient’s health overview”.
