How to Request a Patient’s Insurance Details

Insurance details are stored in a patient’s profile. As an Auxita user, you can manually request insurance information from a patient at any time.

How to request a patients insurance details 

  1. Open the patient’s profile from the patient's section, or by searching for the patient’s name on the top right-hand corner.

  2. From the patient’s profile, click on the profile tab. Verify if the email or phone number is valid.

  3. Once the contact details are confirmed, in the coverage details, click Request Patient Insurance.

  4. After the patient submits their insurance details, the information is automatically updated on their profile in Auxita. 

Pencil icon NOTE The Request Patient Insurance button will not appear if the patient already has at least one public and one private insurance plan.

You will also not be able to select the button if the patient does not have an email or mobile number saved on their Profile.
