Add an Appointment for a Patient
Appointments should be created after a prescription has been sent to the pharmacy through Auxita.
There are two ways to add an appointment:
Schedule page – week view

On the Schedule page, select the week you are booking appointments for.

Choose the Prescriber (if multiple in facility) from the dropdown.

Click the + on the day you want to schedule the appointment and search for the patient.
- Choose the Prescription from the dropdown and fill in the remaining details or notes to add the appointment.

Then click Add.

Upon adding an appointment, you can view the list of patients scheduled by date by clicking on the scheduled patient(s).

- On a week that already has appointments scheduled, click on the pink line that indicates Scheduled Patient(s).
- Click the Add button in the top right and search for the patient.
- Choose the Prescription from the dropdown and fill in the remaining details or notes to add the appointment.
- Then click Add.
TIP Creating the Prescription before scheduling an appointment, lets you choose the Prescription in the Add Appointment window and will default the Drug and Eye based on what was prescribed.
You can still add an appointment without a Prescription, if necessary.
PHARMACY NOTE The Pharmacy should only add appointments to the Schedule if delegated to do so by staff members at the Clinic.
